playFallsview | sportsbook guide

Sports betting has always been an exciting addition to sports fans game-watching experience and while sportsbooks are in business to turn a profit, we at PlayFallsview believe it is our role to ensure users understand the fundamentals. Not only do we believe you should know what type of bets you are able to place on our site, but you should fully understand how each of them works. Please make yourself familiar with the below options before placing any wagers in our sportsbook.

Cash Out

Cash Outs provides bettors an opportunity to earn cash with a sure thing. If you are feeling unsure about whether you want to keep rolling the dice with your bet, go ahead and cash out before it is too late, or let it ride and keep earning. It’s up to you!

Live Betting

Also known as “in-play” betting, live betting gives sports bettors an amazing opportunity to engage even more during the big game. Simply refresh the odds after each play and take your chances at guessing the next one right.

This also includes updated lines for pre-game betting lines.

Money Line

This is the best way for new bettors to get in the game and better understand how sports wagering works. Simply choose which side is going to win and place your wager. The more likely the team is to win, the lower the payout. Alternatively, the bigger the underdog, the higher the payout.

Over/Under (Total)

Over/Under is one of the more popular betting options in the industry, due to not having to select which side is going to win. You can be impartial to the outcome of the game as long as the teams combine to score more or less than the total.

Parlay

Not for the faint of heart, parlays are often times overlooked by sharps due to the unlikelihood of hitting such a wager. Parlays require a minimum of two bets and for each additional bet thereafter, payouts increase, and sometimes dramatically.

Bettors can combine money lines, totals, spreads, straight bets, and the more you combine, the greater the payout. Parlays are not something new bettors often consider, as it takes years of experience to get right. But, hey, there’s always beginners luck, right?

Prop Bet

Prop Bets have grown in popularity over the last few years and tend to be some of the more exciting bets to be played. Many sportsbooks get creative with their prop-bet offerings during the Super Bowl, with some of the most popular being “How long with the National Anthem take to complete” or “Heads or Tails” for the coin toss.

Prop Bets are another great option for bettors looking to be impartial on the outcome of the game and is a great way for fantasy sports players to try their hands at sports betting.

Spread

Assigning a spread can make games more interesting as we all know Alabama is going to blow out any D2 school they face, but will they beat them by 40? Probably, but it sure makes the game more exciting when that D2 school is getting 39.5 points and you’re watching a blowout in the 3rd quarter, but need two more touchdowns to cover.

Straight Bet

Straight bets, also referred to as a “single bet”, are simply a single wager on an event. The most basic, and perhaps most common, way to wager on football games is to bet on a single game that has an assigned money line or point spread (see above).

Teaser

Similar to Parlay Bets, Teasers require a combination of bets. The biggest difference between the two is that Teasers give you a slight edge, with the ability to buy points to move the spread in the bettor’s favor. In exchange for the edge, bettors will receive a lesser payout depending on the number of points purchased. A two-team six-point teaser pays more than a two-team ten-point teaser.

Like a parlay wager, a Teaser requires a minimum of two teams and all legs must win for the bet to grade as a winner.
